CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION #
WHEREAS, as a result of that breech of contract
on the part of Garden and Landscape, Inc., the City of
Tamarac is met with an emergency situation as pertains
and relates to maintenance functions and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the absolute
public interest and public health, welfare, aafety and morals
that immediate steps and actions are necessary to temporarily
affectuate a continuation of the maintenance program:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL of
the City of Tamarac, Florida,
That the City l is hereby authorized as a
result of the emergency situation as here and above refered
to to take any and all steps necessary to temporarily
affectuate a continuation of the maintenance program. This
shall include but not be limited to the hiring of employees
and agents and the formulation and entrance into actemporary
agreements to meet this emergency.
This authority is specifically recognized as an
exercise of the City's powers including police powers to meet
this emergency situation. which might adversely affect the
public health, safety, welfare, and morals.
