RESOLUTION NO. L� l
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has previously entered
into an oral understanding with Behring Corporation to
provide Maintenance to the Woodlands and Section Nine of
the Mainlands, and
WHEREAS, the parties are now desirous of entering into
an agreement for a temporary contract to expire on January 1,
1971, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is now desirous of instructing
the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into such as agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL of the
City of Tamarac, Florida:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby instructed
and authorized to execute that agreement attached hereto and
made a part hereof, pertaining to maintenance of the Woodlands
and of Section Nine of the Mainlands with the Behring Corporation.
Said agreement is to expire on the fifth day of January, 1971,
and is to be assignable without the consent of the Behring
Corporation to any individual, non-profit corporation or
association of any individual section involved.
PASSED; ADOPTED, AND APPROVED this day of November,
1970.

A G R E E M E N T
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this day
of October, 1970, by and between BEHRING CORPORATION, herein-
after referred to as " BEHRING " and the CITY OF TAMARAC, herein-
after referred to as " CITY ".
WHEREAS, the CITY is desirous of obtaining certain lawn
maintenance services in THE MAINLANDS OF TAMARAC LAKES NINTH
SECTION and THE WOODLANDS SECTION ONE PHASE ONE, THE WOODLANDS
SECTION ONE PHASE TWO, THE WOODLANDS SECTION TWO PHASE ONE,
THE WOODLANDS SECTION FIVE, THE WOODLANDS SECTION SIX, THE
WOODLANDS SECTION SEVEN, and THE WOODLANDS SECTION EIGHT, and
WHEREAS, BEHRING is willing to provide said services for
a period of ninety ( 90 ) days from the date of this Agreement,
it is therefore mutually understood and agreed as follows:
1. BEHRING will, as necessary, cut, edge, fertilize,
and spray all lawns and will maintain the sprinkler system on
all lots in the above stated section of THE MAINLANDS OF
TAMARAC LAKES and the above stated sections of THE WOODLANDS.
2. BEHRING sahll cut the said lawns once in every two -
week period, not to exceed twice in any monthly period.
3. For providing the above services, BEHRING shall be
paid SEVEN ( $7.00 ) DOLLARS per cut for the cutting of every
lawn in THE MAINLANDS OF TAMARAC NINTH SECTION and NINE ( $9.00 )
DOLLARS per cut for the cutting of each lawn in each section of
THE WOODLANDS.
4. This Agreement shall expire on January 5, 1971, and is
assignable be either party.
