RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously passed Resolu-
tion No. 70-52 creating a Charter Revision Committee, and
WHEREAS, said Resolution expressed the Council's intent
and desire to effectuate Charter Revision and to do same by
recommendation and request to the Broward Legislative Delegation,
and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the passage of said Resolution
the Council has been presented with a petition in accordance
with Florida Statute 166 requesting the election of a Charter
Revision Board, and
WHEREAS, the Council has now determined that it would be
duplication of the same or basically the same efforts to create
a Charter Revision Board and proceed as previously outlined
in Resolution No. 70-52 toward the effectuation of Charter
revision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL of the
City of Tamarac, Florida:
That Resolution No. 70-52 is hereby repealed in its
entirety and the Charter Revision Committee as outlined and
created in said Resolution is hereby permanently dissolved.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of November,
1970.
