• RESOLUTION NO. 70 - 6
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING DANIEL E. DUNN TO
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC FOR
THE REMAINDER OF THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF
RESIGNING COUNCILMAN CHARLES LATZ.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac has
accepted the resignation of Councilman Charles Latz, there-
by creating a vacancy on the Council; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 10 of the Charter
of the City of Tamarac, the remaining Councilmen shall
appoint, by majority vote, a person otherwise qualified to
be a Councilman and the person so appointed shall serve as
Councilman for the remainder of the unexpired term of the
Councilman who has resigned; and,
WHEREAS, the remaining members of the Council
have examined the qualifications of persons to serve on the
Council and deem Daniel E. Dunn to be well qualified and
Daniel E. Dunn has indicated he would accept appointment to
the Council; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Daniel E. Dunn be and he is hereby
appointed to the Council of the City of Tamarac and shall serve
for the unexpired term of former Councilman, Charles Latz.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of March, A.D., 1970.
