RESOLUTION 121" 61411
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes and acknowledges the
temporary status of the occupancy of the present City Hall
facilities, and
WHEREAS, the Council further recognizes the present inadequacy
of said facilities for municipal operations, and
WHEREAS, the City Council further recognizes the rapid growth
rate of the City of Tamarac and the -fact that the present City
Hall and municipal facilities are and will continue to be insuf-
ficient, and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need to begin pre-
parations and plans for the erection of a new municipal complex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida:
That Councilman I. H. Wilderman is hereby requested, empowered
and authorized to begin a study and investigation of possible sites
suitable for the future development of a municipal complex. Council-
man Wilderman is further requested that after he has evaluated and
investigated numerous sites that he bring before the Council for its
evaluation those sites that would appear to be most suitable and
available for future development.
