iRESOLUTION NO. 70 - 7,6
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING HENRY LEYERLE AS
INTERIM CITY CLERK FOR THE CITY OF TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, the Council has accepted the resignation of
William Bland and thereby a vacancy has been created in the
office of City Clerk; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the office
of City Clerk cannot be vacant and has examined the qualifications
of certain individuals for the purpose of appointing an interim
City Clerk with limited powers and deems Henry Leyerle well
qualified to serve as interim City Clerk of the City of Tamarac;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY TIE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Henry Leyerle be and he is hereby
appointed interim City Clerk to serve at the pleasure of the
Council for an indefinite period, and shall be given only such
powers as are necessary to perform the ordinary and routine
duties of City administration, including, but not necessarily
limited to, the right to execute City checks.
