RESOLUTION #C-.
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the best interest of
the City in order to properly implement its responsibilities in
relation to electrical inspections and electrical codes controlling
same it should create an Electrical Code Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is now desirous of creating said
board, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is now desirous of appointing certain
members to said board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City
of Tamarac, Florida:
That the Electrical Code Advisory Board is hereby created.
That said Board shall be made up -of no more than five members
all of whom shall serve for a term of two years. All appointments
and replacements to said Board shall be made by resolution of the
City Council of the City of Tamarac.
Said Board shall function at the pleasure of the City Council
of the City of Tamarac and pursuant to all ordinances, resolutions
and other laws effective within the City of Tamarac.
Said Board shall have as its purpose to act in an advisory
capacity to the Building and Inspection Department of the City of
Tamarac and as advisers to the City Council in matters relating
to the electrical code and electrical inspections.
Said Board shall have no capacity other than as an advisory
board and shall in no way have the capacity to render opinions or
make decisions other than those specifically requested by the City
Council.
Said Electrical Code Advisory Board shall choose by vote of
their own membership a Chairman and Secretary.
Mr. Jack Walker and Mr. Albert Trinborn are hereby appointed
to serve on the Electrical Code Advisory Board and the term of
office for each shall be for a period of two years.
