RESOLUTLON 0 2/�T
WHEREAS, the City Manager has made recommendation to the City
Council that the firm of Strang and Cardone Chartered should be relieved
of its responsibilities, duties and position as City Auditor and
Accounting Advisor, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac is desirous of
terminating the position of said firm as City Auditor and Accounting
Advisor, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the. Chartered
Certified Public Accounting firm of Planes and Burkett be retained
as City Auditor and Accounting Advisor for the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida:
1. That the firm of Strang and Cardone Chartered is hereby
relieved of its position of City Auditor and Accounting Advisor
to the City of Tamarac and any obligations created pursuant to any
agreements between the parties is hereby terminated effective the 31st
day of MARCH 1971.
2. That the firm of Planes and Burkett, Chartered Certified
Public Accountants, are hereby retained in the position of City Auditor
and Accounting and Financial Advisor to the City of Tamarac.
3. That the Mayor and the City Clerk -Manager are hereby
authorized to enter into that agreement, copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof evidencing the appointment of said firm.
4. That compensation of said firm for the services required
pursuant to the terms of the Charter and pursuant to the terms of
that agreement as hereinabove referred shall be made pursuant to the
terms of said agreement and that said firm shall serve in their
capacity as City Auditor and Accounting and Financial Advisor to the
City of Tamarac at the pleasure of the City Council.
5. That said appointment shall become effective as of the 16th
