RESOLUTION #
WHEREAS, a vacancy has been created in the office of City Attorney,
and
WHEREAS, by authority of the Charter of the City of Tamarac the
Council may appoint a City Attorney and set compensation for same
by resolution,and
WHEREAS, the Council is now desirous in making such an appointment
and setting compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida:
That Richard A. Bird is hereby appointed as acting City Attorney
effective the 25th day of May, 1971, to serve at the pleasure of
the City Council of the City of Tamarac.
Said appointment shall include representation in matters of
litigation and representation in the capacity of City Prosecutor.
Compensation for services rendered shall be paid at the rate
of $25.00 per hour.
