RESOLTUION #
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Council of the
City of Tamarac that it would be most desirous and in the best interests
of the City of Tamarac that a board be created for the purpose of
advising and planning for the municipality as to aesthetic appearance
of construction and use of land within the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is now desirous of creating such a
board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida:
That a board to be known as the Tamarac Aesthetic Control Board
is hereby created. Said board shall have five members all of which
shall be appointed by resolution of the Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, to serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
The first board shall consist of five members, two of which shall
^-" be appointed for a period of two years and three of which shall be
appointed for a period of one year. After the initial appointment
each subsequent appointment shall be for a term of two years.
The purpose of the board as herein created shall be to advise
the Council of the City of Tamarac and the Planning and Zoning Board
of the City of Tamarac as to aesthetic appearance both generally and
as to individual requests for plat approval and building permit
issuance. The initial board is requested to meet and within three
months of their appointment submit to the Council of the City of
Tamarac for its approval and adoption an outline of procedures and
organization that the board shall work under.
