RESOLUTION NO.71-50
-- WHEREAS, the new City Charter creates the office of
City Manager) and2
WHEREASI the City Council acting under the previous
City Charter adopted Ordinance No. 71-3 designating R. H.
Decker as Manager - Clerk, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to clarify the position
of City Manager=
NOW, THEREFORE= BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF the City
of Tamarac2 Florida,
That R. H. Decker2 is hereby appointed and designated as
City Manager with powers and duties defined in the City Charter,
effective immediately,
That said appointee shall serve at the pleasure of the
City Council.
That said appointee shall cease his activities as City
Clerk and shall forthwith name an acting or permanent City
Clerk as provided in Article X of the City Charter.
That said appointee shall continue to receive the re-
muneration as he has under his prior appointment.
