RESOLUTION NO. ••
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING SAMUEL GLICK AS ACTING
CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WMREA.S, the City Council, pursuant to the provisions of
Section 39 of the Charter of the City of Tamarac, deems it wise
and expedient to fill the vacancy created in the office of the
City Manager, through an interim appointment; and
W1EREAS, the City Council has examined the credentials and
qualifications of SAMUEL GLICK for the position of Acting City
Manager for the City of Tamarac and has concluded that SAMUEL
GLICK possesses the necessary qualifications to serve in such
capacity; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That SAMUEL GLICK be and he is hereby appointed
Acting City Manager of the City of Tamarac in accordance with
Section 39 of the Charter.
SECTION 2: That SAMUEL GLICK shall serve and be compensated
as Acting City Manager in a manner to be established by the Council
but for no less than his present rate of compensation.
SECTION 3 That SAMUEL GLICK during his term of service
as Acting City Manager shall have the powers and duties set forth
in Section 39 of the City Charter.
