RESOLUTION NO
A RESOLUTION GRANTING LEAVE OF ABSENCE TO THE
CITY MANAGER AND APPOINTING AN ACTING CITY
MANAGER DURING HIS ABSENCE. -
WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested a leave of absence
for approximately two weeks for personal reasons and the City
Council has seen fit to grant such request, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to appoint an
acting City Manager during the absence of the City Manager and has
determined that Samuel Glick possesses the necessary qualifications
to serve in such capacity,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SECTION 1: That John F. Cantwell be and is hereby granted a
leave of absence for approximately two weeks frcan his duties as
City Manager, City of Tamarac.
SECTION 2: That Samuel Glick be and is hereby appointed
acting City Manager during the absence of and until the return of
the City Manager in accordance with. Section 39 of the City Charter.
SECTION 3: That Samuel Glick during his term of service
as Acting City Manager shall have the powers. and duties set forth
in Section 39 of the City Charter.
