A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE II PLOYM,EW OF A CITY
PLAt"..J G CONSULTANT;
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board has recumiended the
employment of a professional planning consultant, and

WHEREAS, the City budget provides funds for such purposes,
WHEREAS, the City Charter provides that the City Manager shall
appoint all officers of the City with certain stated exceptions,
and fix the compensation of such officers,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: �J

SECTION 1: That the City Manager be and is herebyR -_ekled to
establish a City Planning Department and to employ or appoint a
qualified professional person in such capacity.
SECTION 2: That the City Manager is hereby directed to fix the
ccupensation of such officer or employee within the budget limitations
of the City.
