RESOLUTION NO . `"A�� E+
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY,
FLORIDA TO FURNISH BUS SERVICE TO THE
CITY OF TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Broward
County, Florida, has approved the initiation of bus service
for the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the residents of the City are in need of bus
service, and
WHEREAS, Section 11 P. of the City Charter empowers the
City to authorize the use of its streets for buses and other
forms of public transportation and to otherwise regulate the
same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of
the City of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the Board of County Commissioners2
Broward County, Florida, be and they are hereby authorized to
operate a system of bus transportation over, across and upon
the streets and ways of the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 2: That the Board of County Commissioners is
requested to use the clubhouses, public buildings and. com-
mercial shopping locations in the City as the primary points
for pick-up and discharge of passengers.
SECTION 3: Nothing herein shall be deemed to grant to
the Board of County Commissioners or any other person, firm
or corporation any franchise and/or vested right to the routes
authorized and the City Council reserves the right to terminate
this grant upon reasonable notice to the Board of County
Commissioners, Broward County, Florida.
