A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPOINTMENT OF MORRIS C. TLUER
BY THE CHARTER BOARD AS THEIR ATTORNEY AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT OF HIS FEES AT THE RATE OF $35.00 PER HOUR
ON PRESENTATION AND APPROVAL BY THE CHARTER BOARD AND
EXAMINATION THEREOF'BY THE COUNCIL 'PRIOR TO PAYMENT.
WHEREAS, the Charter Board of the City of Tamarac is authorized
and directed by the City Charter to recommend charter changes on
or before September lst of each year and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Morris C. Tucker, an attorney practicing in
Broward County, Florida has been selected by the Charter Board as
their legal counsel and has agreed to serve in such capacity, and
WHEREAS, City Council is now desirous of appointing Morris C.
Tucker to be a special assistant City Attorney for the purpose of
acting as legal advisor and counsel to the Charter Soared.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SECTION'1: That Morris C. Tucker is hereby appointed as
special assistant City Attorney for the sole purpose of acting as
attorney for and counsel to the Charter Board, City of Tamarac.
'SECTION 2: That said appointment is for the purpose of providing
that legal assistance as is required and requested by the Charter
SECTION 3s That said attorney shall serve at the will of the
Charter Board and shall receive as compensation for his services
rendered the sun of $35.00 per hour on presentation and approval
by the Charter Board and Examination thereof by the Council prior to
payment.
