RESOLUTION N0.
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT THE PEOPLES BANK OF
BROKARD COUNTY BE DESIGNATED AS AN ADDITIONAL
DEPOSITORY FOR CITY FUNDS AND THAT THE CITY MANAGER
BE AUTHORIZED TO TRANSFER FUNDS OF THE CITY TO
SUCH ACCOUNTS AS HE MAY ESTABLISH IN SUCH
DEPOSITORY.
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request from the
City Administration for authority to transfer funds to a more
convenient depository, and
WHEREAS, the Peoples Bank of Broward County has recently opened
for business within the City of Tamarac a short distance from City
Hall, and
WHEREAS, the Council has been advised that substantial time
could be saved by transferring some funds from the Lauderdale
Lakes National Bank to Peoples Bank of Broward County and the Council
deems it wise and expedient to authorize the City Manager to arrange
for such transfer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF The City of
Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the Peoples Bank of Broward County be and is
hereby designated as an official City Depository in addition to the
Lauderdale Lakes National Bank in accordance with Section 99 of the
City Charter and the laws of the State of Florida.
SECTION 2: That the City Manager is hereby authorized to open
such accounts as he deems necessary and expedient in the Peoples
Bank of Broward County and to close the account for such purpose
heretofore established in the Lauderdale Lakes National Bank.

SECTION 3: That the appropriate bank officials at the Lauder —
dale Lakes National Bank and Peoples Bank of Broward County be
supplied with certified copies of this Resolution.
