CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION CONIUMRATING MEMORIAL DAY.
WHEREAS, various veteran's organizations have requested
authority to conduct ceremonies commemorating Memorial. Day, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to express the
deep gratitude of the populous to those who have given of them-
selves in defense of our Nation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City
of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the service of the veteran's of the armed
forces of the United States be commemorated in the City of Tamarac
on May 30th 1972.
SECTION'2: That the veterans and the American Legion be
and they are hereby authorized to conduct ceremonies on. May 30th
1972 commencing at approximately 11:45 A.M. in the vicinity of
the flag pole in front of City Hall, 5200 Rock .Island Road,
Tamarac, Florida.
