RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING MATCHING FUNDS FOR
AQUATIC WEED CONTROL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
NOVEMBER 1, 1972 TO OCTOBER 31, 1973, BY THE
CITY OF TAMAR4C.
WHEREAS, Section, 372.925, FLORIDA STATUTES provides for match-
ing funds for special districts or local authorities charged with
the responsibility of controlling or eradicating aquatic plants;
such funds to be administered by the Department of Natural Resources,
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has the budgeted sums mentioned
herein available as matching funds for the fiscal year and is
desirous of taking advantage of such program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of
Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the City of Tamarac hereby certifies to the
Department of Natural Resources that it has sufficient funds.
budgeted for the fiscal year November 1, 1972 through October 31,
1973 to match state funds on an equal basis up to $ 31,384.00
