RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFERS OF FUNDS FROM
PUBLIC WORKS MOSQUITO CONTROL ACCOUNT NO. 464; TO
PUBLIC SAFETY ACCOUNT NO. 430; TO POLICE DEPARTMENT
ACCOUNT NO. 431; AND TO PROTECTIVE INSPECTIONS
ACCOUNT NO._451; AND TO CHARTER BOARD _ACCOUNT NO.__„419.
WHEREAS, needs have arisen to fund or provide additional funds
for each of the items authorized by this Resolution, and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered such recommendations
of the City Manager at a public meeting after notice thereof was
attached to the agenda of the meeting, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that a transfer of
funds from the public works mosquito control, account no. 464 to
the funds specified in this Resolution can be made without impairing
the purposes for which the fund was created, and
WHEREAS, the extra day contained in the "leap year" created a
shortage in the public safety account and
WHEREAS, the Police Department had unexpected investigative
expenses arising out of a homicide case, and
WHEREAS, there was an oversight in the Protective Inspections
budget due to the failure to provide for automobile expenses,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of
Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to make inter -departmental transfers from the Public Works Mosquito
Control Account Department #464 in the total amount of $7400 to the
accounts listed as follows:
