CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL
ELECTION FOR MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL.
FIDUMAS, a general election was held on Februaaey 22, 1972
for purpose of electing one candidate for the office of Mayor, and
one candidate for the office of councilman in each of four districts,
."
WHEREAS, the City Council has canvassed the results of the
machine voting as certified by the election clerks and the absentee
ballots,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of
Tamarac, Florida;
SECTION 1: That the following person is hereby certified
to have received the highest vote and to have been elected to
the office of Mayor for a term of two (2) years:
OSCAR W. SELTMAN
SECTION 2: That the following person is hereby certified to
have received the highest vote and to have been elected from
district one for a term of one (1) year:
SECTION 3: That the following person is hereby certified to
have received the highest vote and to have been elected from
district two for a term of two (2) years:
DWIGHT E. JOHNSON
SECTION 4: That the following person is hereby certified to
have received the highest vote and to have been elected from
district three for a term of one (1) year:
HELEN MASSARO
SECTION 5: That the following person is hereby certified to

have received the highest vote and to have been elected fran
district four for a term of two (2) years:
EUGENE SHULTZ
SECTION 6: That EVELYN LANCE
shall serve as Vine Mayor of the City in accordance with Section
24 of the City Charter for a term of one (1) year.
