RESOLUTION NO;
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR JANITORIAL
SERVICE FOR CITY HALL AND ANNEX TO
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter of the City of Tamarac,
advertisement for invitation to bid has been placed, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said invitation bids have been received
for the contract for janitorial service for City Hall and Annex,
and
bid.
WHEREAS, the City. Council is now desirous of awarding said
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City
of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION ] : That the bad ofl�}N

per month for janitorial service for City Hall and Annex including
the materials and services listed in the attached Specifications
is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2: That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized
to execute a proper agreement evidencing the award of this bid.

THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this 13th day of
December, 1972 by and "between the City 01" Tamarac hereinafter
referred to as "City" and Sunshine 14faintanance Company here-
inafter referred to as the "Company."
WI TNESSETHs
That for and in consideration of the mutual covenants
herein contained the parties do agree as followss
1. The term of this agreement shall be for the period l
January thru 30 September, 1973, The City shall have an option
to renew this agreement for the period of 1 October 1973
thru 30 September, 1973 for the same price and upon the same
terms and conditions.
2. That the City shall pay to theCompa:ny in consideraw
Lion of all goods and services provided for herein the sum of
Four hundred ($400.00)per month payable at the end of each
monthly period.
3. That the Company agrees to supply all paper goods
such as toilet tissue, paper napkins, roll towels, etc. and
soap. Also the Company will supply all detergents and toilet
bowl cleaners for sanitizing the rest rooms.
4. The Company agrees to supply the following services
daily:(between the hours of 6s30 A.M. and 9 A.M.)
a. Vacuum all rugs including hallways and meeting
rooms.
b. Dump all trash and/or waste baskets.

Wash and
clean all
ash trays.

Clean and
sweep all
entrance ways and exits.
f. Clean all rest rooms.
5. The Company agrees that It will at all times obtain
and pay for policies of insurance generally known as
public liability policies Insuring the Company and
the Company's accounts against all claims and de-
mands made.by any Person, or persons whomsoever for
injuries received as a result of performance of the
above outlined duties or Failure to perform under
the terms of this proposal. The limits of liability
of such policy shall be not less than $2.5,000.00
for each person injured and $50,000.00 for each
occurance.
6. This contract may be terminated by either party
upon thirty (30) days written notice to the other.

8. This contract shall not be assignable by either party..
