RESOLUTION NO. --1.
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL
ELECTION FOR COUNCILMEN IN DISTRICTS 1 AND 3.
WHEREAS, a general election was held on February 27, 1973 for
purpose of electing one candidate for the office of councilman
in District One and one in District Three,
WHEREAS, the City Council has canvassed the results of the
machine voting as certified by the election clerks and the
absentee ballots,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of
Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the following person is hereby certified to
have been elected from district one for a term of two (2) years:
SECTION 2: That the following person is hereby certified to
have received the highest vote and to have been elected from
district Three for a term of two (2) years:
SECTION 3 • That
shall serve as Vice Mayor of the City in accordance with Section
24 of the City Charter for a term of one (1) year.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS "day of bruary, 1973.
