RESOLUTION NO. 122
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR
STREET AND TRAFFIC SIGNS
WHEREAS, the City has heretofore advertised
for bids for street and traffic signs and has received
bids; and,
WHEREAS, the Council is desirous of awarding
the bid for such street and traffic signs to the lowest
and best bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the bid of �P'

for street and traffic signs, a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof by reference, is hereby
adopted.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of

Gentlemen:
With reference to your request for sealed bids for street and traffic
signs, we are pleased to attach our bid showing unit costs of signs
and posts.
Please note that:
(a.) Sign prices for all signs except 12"x18" parking signs are for
.080 gauge aluminum "Nite Brite" process reflective signs with entire
surface of sign, glass beaded for full reflectivity.
(b.) Prices for 12"x18" NO.PARKING and 12"xl8" NO STOPPING OR
STANDING signs are for .080 gauge aluminum with baked enamel finish,
as these are not required to be reflective.
(c.) Our channel posts are 2 lbs. per foot with 3/8" holes centered
1" apart along the entire post length so that more than one sign may
be attached to the post where necessary.
(d.) These signs are the same as have been furnished to the City of Tam-
arac in the past and carry a guarantee of 5 years under normal
reasonable use.
(e.) Prices quoted are for quantities shown. Any reduction in
quantities could necessitate a revision in these prices.
All quotations are FOB City of Tamarac and delivery will be 3 weeks
(working days) from receipt of your firm order.
