A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE CONTRACT FOR
GARBAGE AND TRASH COLLECTION WITH BROWARD
REFUSE, INC. D/B/A ALL SERVICE REFUSE
COMPANY, DIVISION C, AND AMENDING THE
TERMS THEREOF

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 72-73, the City of Tamarac

awarded a contract containing an option to renew for the C->
collection of garbage and trash to Broward Refuse, Inc., d/b/a co

All Service Refuse Company, Division C, and �-
WHEREAS, City Council is desirous of extending said
contract for an additional year and is desirous of amending
certain terms thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the contract for garbage the trash
collection for the City of Tamarac with Broward Refuse, Inc.,
d/b/a All Service Refuse Company, Division C, is hereby extended
for the one year period ending October 31, 1974.
SECTION 2: That the Mayor, City Clerk and City
Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
agreements extending the term of said contract and modifying
the terms thereof as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this is day of November, 1973.

A G R E E M E N T
This Agreement made and entered into this day of
November, 1973 by and between the City of Tamarac, a municipal
corporation existing under the laws of the State of Florida
hereinafter called City, and Broward Refuse, Inc. d/b/a All
Service Refuse Company, Division C, a Florida corporation,
hereinafter called the Collector.
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS by Agreement dated October 30, 1972 and
further by virtue of Resolution No. 72-73 the City and Collector
entered into an Agreement for the collection of garbage and trash
within the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS said contract contains a provision for a one
year extension of said Agreement, and
WHEREAS the parties desire to extend said Agreement and
modify certain terms thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED:
1. That the City shall pay to the Collector a flat
rate of $3.25 per month per residential unit for garbage and
trash collection in zoning districts R-1, R-lB, R-lC, R-&and R-3U.
2. That the $1.00 surcharge for additional cans is
hereby completely eliminated and all limitations on the number
of cans that will be picked up for the monthly charge is hereby
deleted.
3. Collector agrees to collect garbage and trash from
the site selected by the residential unit owner.
4. The
aforesaid Agreement shall be effective
immediately upon
the execution
of this Agreement, and shall
expire on October
31, 1974, or
as otherwise provided in the
Agreement of October
30, 1972.

5. The
Agreement of
October 30,91972, except as other-

to the extent that
it does not
conflict with this amendatory
agreement.
