CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT FROM THE
CHARTER BOARD OF SEVENTEEN PROPOSED AMENDMENTS
TO THE CITY CHARTER FROM THE CHARTER BOARD
FOR APPROVAL OR DISAPPROVAL OF THE ELECTORS
AT THE FORTHCOMING GENERAL ELECTION.
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a copy of each
of seventeen proposed amendments to the City Charter, drawn
by the Charter Board, and
WHEREAS, it is noted that in Section 124 of the Charter
such proposed amendments are to go on the ballot at the next
general election, and
WHEREAS, it is noted that in Section 124 the City Council's
action is a formality.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the seventeen proposed amendments
are hereby referred to the Election Board with the direction
that they appear for approval or disapproval of the electors at
the forthcoming general election. I
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 2,> _ day of
