CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE ELECTION BOARD
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC TO PLACE ON THE BALLOT
AT THE GENERAL ELECTION A REFERENDUM ON AUTHO-
RIZATION FOR THE CITY COUNCIL TO EXPEND FUNDS
FROM DEVELOPERS CONTRIBUTION RECREATION AND
PARKS FUND FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore indicated its
de :'t.re to have a referendum election on approval of making ex-
penditures from the Developers Contribution Recreation and Parks
Fund for Public Improvements, pursuant to Section
Charter of the City of Tamarac; and,
115 of the
WHEREAS, such question has been duly advertised for
referendum election at the general election to be held on
February 27, 1973,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of
the City of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1:
That the Election Board of the City of
Tamarac, be requested to place on the ballot the following
question:
" SHALL THE CITY HAVE AUTHORITY UNTIL THE
GENERAL ELECTION IN 1974 TO EXPEND FUNDS
FROM THE DEVELOPERS CONTRIBUTION RECREATION
AND PARKS FUND, WITHOUT USING ANY TAX FUNDS,
TO ACQUIRE LAND FOR PARKS AND TO IMPROVE
SUCH PARKS? "
