RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION DECLARING MAY TO BE ARBOR MONTH.
WHEREAS,
the
Governor of the
State of Florida has
requested that
the
month of May be
declared Arbor Month, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to carry out
the request of the Governor.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the month of May be declared Arbor
Month in the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 2: That the citizens of Tamarac are hereby
encouraged to plant trees in their own gardens this month
and also to plant additional trees in the Recreation Areas
of the City.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this `'� day of
