RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION COMMEMORATING MEMORIAL DAY.
WHEREAS, various veterans' organizations have requested
authority to conduct ceremonies commemorating Memorial Day,
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to express the
deep gratitude of the populace to those who have given of
themselves in defense of our Nation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the service of the veterans of the
Armed Forces of the United States be commemorated in the
City of Tamarac on May 30th 1973.
SECTION 2: That the veterans and the American Legion
be and they are hereby authorized to conduct ceremonies
on May 30th 1973 commencing at approximately 11.45 am
in the vicinity of the flag pole in front of City Hall,
5200 Rock Island Road, Tamarac, Florida.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this �_ day of
