CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ASSIGNMENT OF
JANITORIAL SERVICE CONTRACT TO AUGUST LENZ
FROM SUNSHINE MAINTENANCE COMPANY
WHEREAS, by resolution number 72-87, the City of Tamarac
entered into a contract for janitorial service for the City Hall
and Annex with Sunshine Maintenance Company, and
WHEREAS, August Lenz performed said services by and through
Sunshine Maintenance Company, and
WHEREAS, August Lenz individually has purchased that por-
tion of Sunshine Maintenance Company which handled the City Hall
and Annex maintenance work, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of having August
Lenz continue to provide said services,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the agreement dated December 13, 1972,
between the City of Tamarac and Sunshine Maintenance Company may be
assigned to August Lenz individually and d/b/a Auggie's Janitorial
and Maintenance Service, the City agreeing to amend paragraph 8 of
the contract, a copy of which is attached hereto.
SECTION 2: That this resolution does hereby constitute
written modification of paragraph 8 of the said contract, and fur-
ther constitutes written acceptance of the assignment of the said
janitorial service contract from Sunshine Maintenace Company to
August Lenz d/b/a Auggie's Janitorial and Maintenance Service.

I, John H. Muckensturm, owner of Sunshine Management
and Maintenance Company have no objections whatsoever
of Mr. August Lenz taking over the City contract, since
he has purchased that portion of my contract with the
City of Tamarac, including all assets.

Tha'c for and in consideration of the mutual co-7enants

1. The term of this agreement shall be for the period 1
January thru 30 September, 1973. The City shall have an option
to renew this agreement for the period of 1 04tooer 1973
thina 30 September, 1973 for the same price and upon the same
terms and conditions.
2. That the City shall pay to theCompa_ry in considera-
tion of all goods and services provided for herein the sum of
Four Hundred ( 400,00) per month payable at the end of each
monthly period.
3. That the Company agrees to supply all paper goods
such as toilet tissue, paper napkins, roll togels, et-_. and
soap, also the Comp -any will supply all detergents and toilet
bowl cleaners for sanitizing the rest rooms.
k. The Company agrees to supply the follovring ser-'ices
daily:(between the hours of 6: 30 A.M. and 9 A.M. )
a. Vacuum all rugs including hallways and meeting
rooms.
b. Dump all trash and/or waste baskets.
ce Dust all desks.
d. Wash and clean all ash trays.
ee Clean and sweep all entrance ways and exits.
f. Clean all rest rooms.
5, The Company agrees that it will at all tj:nas obtain

the Company's accounts against all claims and de-

8. This contract shall not be assignable by either party.
