RESOLUTION NO. 5
A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING RELEASE OF CANAL
RESERVATIONS ON THE PARCEL OF LAND IN THE
FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS SUBDIVISION
(PORTION of TRACTS 1 and 2 of Section 8)
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has been requested to
state any objection it may have to release of canal reservations
across the property described herein, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has examined such request
and has recommended the City file no objection to such release.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida;
SECTION 1: That the City of Tamarac has no objection
to the release of canal reservations involving the land and
deed described as follows:
(See attached description marked Exhibit A)
E.D.D. Deed No. 590 dated August 12, 1919,
Deed Book 10, Page 74, Public Records of
Broward County, Florida.

DESCRIPTION: PARCEL "E"
A portion of Tracts 1 and 2 of Fort Lauderdale Truck Farms
Subdivision, of Section 8, Township 49 South, Range 41 East,
as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 31, of the Public Records of
Broward County, Florida, being more particularly described
as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 8; thence S 880
59' 10" E, along the North lane of said Section 8, a distance of
4423.62 feet; thence S 00 01'37" E, a distance of 53.00 feet
to the Point of Beginning of this description; thence contin-
uing S 00 01' 37" E, a distance of 130.61 feet to a Point of
Curve; thence Southerly and Westerly, along the arc of a cir-
cular curve to the right, having a radius of 1280.00 feet, a
distance of 990.70 feet, thence N 570 59' 05" W, a distance
along the arc of said curve, having a radius of 1600.00 feet,
an arc distance thence Northerly and Easterly, along the arc of
a circular curve to the right, having a radius of 25.00 feet,
an arc distance 39.27 feet; thence S 880 59' 10" E, a distance
of 492.82 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Said lands situate, lying and being in Broward County, Florida.
Containing 10.823 Acres.
