CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. q
A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING RELEASE OF CANAL
RESERVATIONS ON THE PARCEL OF LAND IN THE
FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS SUBDIVISION
(PORTION OF TRACTS 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and
15 of Section 12).
WHEREAS , the City of Tamarac has been requested to
state any objection it may have to release of canal
reservations across the property described herein, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has examined such request
and has recommended the City file no objection to such
release,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the City of Tamarac has no objection
to the release of canal reservations involving the land
described as follows:
(See attached description marked Exhibit "A".
Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District
file number 3-BCA-2 (0-1395).

A portion of Tracts 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15, of Section 12, Township 49 South,
Range 41 East of FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS SUBDIVISION, as recorded
in Plat Book 4, Page 31, of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida,. being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Section 12; thence N 0613145" W, along
the West line'thereof, a distance of 1315 feet to the Point of Beginning of this description,
said point being further described as the intersection of the West line of said Section 12
and a line parallel with and 5.0 feet South of, as. measured at right angles to, the South
line of Tracts 10, 11 and 12; thence continue N 0013145" W, along the West line of said
Section 12, a distance of 1325.01 feet to a point on the centerline of a 30 foot Road
Right -of -Way lying between Tracts 5, 6 and 7 and Tracts 10, 11 and 12 of said Section 12;
thence S 89009'25" E, along said centerline, a distance of 2666.45 feet to a point; thence
S 0050147" W, along the West line of Pompano Park, Section 3, according to the Plat
thereof as recorded in Plat Book 55, Page 20, of the Public Records of Broward County,
Florida, a distance of 1155.28 feet to a point; thence S 8901012911 E , a distance of 170.01
feet to a point on the West line of Pompano Park, Section 2, according to the Plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 54, Page 12, of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida;
thence S 0149106" W, along said West line of Pompano Park, Section 3, a distance of
169.46 feet to a point 5.0 feet South of, as measured at right angles to, the South line
of Tract 10; thence N 89109'25" IV, parallel with and 5.0 feet South of., as measured at
right angles to, the South line of Tracts 10, 11 and 12, a distance of 2811.85 feet to the
Point of Beginning. Said lands situate, lying and being in Broward County, Florida.
