RESOLUTION NO:
A RESOLUTION URGING THE BOARD OF COUNIY..CQbIMISSIONERS
OF BRQWARD COUNTY', FLORIDA TO INCLUDE PROPOSED IMPROVE-
MENTS IN TVMR ' 197S;1978'SECQNDARY' RQAL? 'PROGRW.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is engaged in
up -.dating of its five CS). year Secondary.Road Program, as required
by Senate Bill 874, revised section 334.21 FLORIDA STATUTES, and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to have certain
projects included in that program and the Board of County Commissioners.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF The City of
Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1.: That the five year Secondary Road Program for
Broward County include the following projects;
'M CONSTRUCTION
A. 'McNab Road between 70.th.Avenue and Sunshine State
Parkway including an overpass of the turnpike to connect with -the
project requested by the city.of Pompano Beach..
B. Bailey Road between Rock Island Road and Northwest
64th- Avenue.
C. Commercial Boulevard west of its existing western
terminus to University Drive.
D. University Drive south.of Commercial. Boulevard.
FOUR�LANING
A. Commercial Boulevard east of State Road No. 7.
B. Rock Island Road between Bailey Road and Oakland
Park , Boulevard.
C. Oakland Park -Boulevard between State Road No. 7 and
University Drive.
SECTION 2 The City Council especially urges, the improvement
-of East-West roadways in northern Broward County,
SECTION 3: That this Resolution be furnished to Board of County
Commissioners, Broward County, Florida and to the Department of
Transportation of the State of Florida.
