CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.�-
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION
TO WEST BROWARD AMBULANCE SERVICE, INC.,
TO OPERATE AN AMBULANCE SERVICE
WHEREAS, Ordinance 73-60 of the City of Tamarac
provides for the granting of special exceptions by the City
Council after a public hearing held by the Zoning Commission,
and
WHEREAS, West Broward Ambulance Service has applied
for a special exception to permit an ambulance service in a
B-1 district, and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission, pursuant to Ordinance
73-60 has held a public hearing on said special exception
petition and recommended approval thereof, and
WHEREAS, the petition meets all requirements of
Ordinance 73-60, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds
that the petition for special exception would be in keeping
with the public health, safety and general welfare of the
City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception
to permit West Broward Ambulance Service, Inc. to operate an
ambulance service in that certain B-1 district legally des-
cribed as follows is hereby approved:
That part of Tract 17 FORT LAUDERDALE
TRUCK FARMS SUBDIVISION OF SECTION 4-49-41
East (Plat Book 4, Page 31) described as
follows: Commence at the SE corner of
said Section 4, thence N. 1138.0l';thence
W. 60.01' to the Point of Beginning;
thence continue W. 660.01, S. 42513-
E. 6601, N. 425' to the Point of Beginning.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:

SECTION 3: This special exception shall be valid
for a period of one year from the date of this Resolution
and shall thereafter expire unless operation of the ambulance
service is commenced within said one-year period
