CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION N0. 5
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JOHN O'MALLEY
AS ACTING CITY MANAGER FOR THE PERIOD
FROM SEPTEMBER 24 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 28,
1973
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized City
Manager Robert Castenholz to attend a City Managers' Con-
ference during the period September 24 through September
28, and
WHEREAS, the attendance at said conference will
require the City Manager to be out of town continuously
during said period, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that
John O'Malley, City Finance Director, be appointed as Acting
City Manager during his absence, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of appointing
John O'Malley as Acting City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That John O'Malley is hereby appointed
Acting City Manager during the absence of City Manager
Robert Castenholz from September 24 through September 28,
1973.
SECTION 2: That John O'Malley is hereby authorized
to sign checks on the General Fund, Utility Fund and Payroll
Account during that period.
SECTION 3: That the appointment of John O'Malley
as Acting City Manager terminates at midnight September 28,
1973.
