RESOLUTION NO. , 1O L
RESOLUTION REFLECTING AN INTENT TO PLACE UPON THE
REFERENDUM BALLOT THE QUESTION OF THE PURCHASE OF
THE CLUB EXECUTIVE FOR A CITY HALL.
WHEREAS, the City Council did enter into a lease with
option to purchase that building commonly known as The Club Executive
for use as a City Hall, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has indicated a desire to purchase
said building, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to place upon the referendum
ballot a proposal for said purchase, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to notify the Election
Board of its intent to subsequently pass a resolution defining the
manner in which the anticipated purchase would be effected,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY
OF TAMARAC;
SECTION 1: That the Election Board is hereby notified of
the City Council's intent to place upon the referendum ballot a
proposition regarding its intent to exercise that option to purchase
reflected in that certain lease entered into by and between the City
of Tamarac and Club Enterprises Inc., a Florida Corpora 'on, dated
December 20th, 1974.
