CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JOHN O'MALLEY
AS ACTING CITY MANAGER FOR THE PERIOD
FROM January 28 thru January 31. 1974.
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized City Manager
Robert D. Castenholz to attend a meeting with Michie City
Publications Company at Charlottesville, Virginia, on 29th
and 30th January, and
WHEREAS, the attendance at said conference will require
the City Manager to be out of town continuously from Monday
28th thru Thursday 31st January, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that John O'Malley,
City Finance Director, be appointed as Acting City Manager during
his absence, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of appointing
John O'Malley as Acting City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That John O'Malley is hereby appointed Acting
City Manager during the absence of City Manager Robert D. Castenholz
from January 28th thru January 31, 1974.
SECTION 2: That John O'Malley is hereby authorized to
sign checks on the General Fund, Utility Fund and Payroll Account
during that period.
SECTION 3: That the appointment of John O'Malley as Acting
City Manager terminates at midnight January 31st 1974.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this a—'j""9 day of
