RESOLUTION NO. --
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY COUNCIL TO APPOINT
ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City Council of the City of Tamarac that there is a necessity
of appointing alternate members to the said Board; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac has
determined the manner in which said alternate members shall
be designated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA;
SECTION 1: That alternate members to the Board of
Adjustment shall be appointed by members of the City Council,
one member being chosen by each respective Councilman from
his or her respective District, and one member to be chosen
by the Mayor at large.
SECTION 2: That the said alternate members designated
by the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of
Tamarac shall serve for a period of one year, and in the
absence or inability of any regular member of the said Board
of Adjustment to serve, said alternate shall thereupon serve
in the place of said regular member, with all the powers and
duties as are vested in said regular member.
SECTION 3: That -r
be and he is hereby appointed as Alternate members of the Board
of Adjustment of the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 4: The aforementioned appointees pursuant
to this Resolution shall serve at the pleasure of the City
Council, and they may be removed with or without cause.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this J_ day of
1974.
