CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING MATCHING FUNDS FOR
AQUATIC WEED CONTROL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
OCTOBER 1, 1973, TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1974,
BY THE CITY OF TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, Section 372.925, FLORIDA STATUTES provides for
matching funds for special districts or local authorities charged
with the responsibility of controlling or eradicating aquatic
plants; such funds to be administered by the Department of
Natural Resources, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has the budgeted sums mentioned
herein available as matching funds for the fiscal year and is
desirous of taking advantage of such program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l:That the City of Tamarac hereby certifies to the
Department of Natural Resources that it has sufficient funds
budgeted for the fiscal year October 1, 1973, through September
30, 1974, to match State funds on an equal basis up to $65,478.00.
SECTION 2: That the City of Tamarac is the local authority
charged with the responsibility of controlling or eradicating
noxious aquatic plants in the waters of the area of jurisdiction
that are public.
