CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. S
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida
is deeply concerned about the increasing rise and availability
of pornographic literature and films; and
WHEREAS, The City Council is concerned with the recent
ruling of a Broward County Circuit Court jury which proclaimed
"DEEP THROAT" as acceptable to the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council pledges its support to
the Lauderdale Manors Baptist Church, Fort Lauderdale, Florida
in ridding this area of all pornographic literature and films.
SECTION 2: That the City Council seek the support of every
concerned citizen who opposes such pornographic literature and
films.
