A RESOLUTION CORRECTING A SCRIVENERS ERROR
IN THAT CERTAIN METES AND BOUNDS LEGAL
DESCRIPTION FOR SHAKER VILLAGE PHASE ONE,
WHICH IS THE SUBJECT MATTER OF A REFERENDUM
ELECTION TO BE HELD JULY 9, 1974.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City of Tamarac that there is a scriveners error in that certain
metes and bounds legal description for Shaker Village Phase One;
and
WHEREAS, said Shaker Village Phase One is the subject matter
of a referendum election to be held in the City of Tamarac on
July 9, 1974; and
WHEREAS, the said scriveners error did create an ambiguity
in the legal description annexed to Ordinance 74-27, and to the
public notice required by law and to the official ballot printed
for said referendum election; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of removing that por-
tion of Shaker Village Phase Two which was inadvertently included
in the said metes and bounds legal description,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac
recognizes that there was a scriveners error in the metes and
bounds legal description for Shaker Village Phase One and that
said error has been brought to the attention of the City Council
and has been corrected, all in accordance with the legal descrip-
tion attached hereto and labeled Schedule "A."
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Tamarac disavows
any interest whatsoever in that parcel of land in Shaker Village
Phase Two inadvertently included in the enabling Ordinance 74-27,
in the notice subsequently publicized in accordance with Florida
law, and on the official ballot printed in accordance with said
legal description.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Tamarac acknow-
ledges this scriveners error and concludes same to be an ambiguity
in the legal description, for the purpose of establishing rights
and liabilities as regards the owner of real property known and
described as Shaker Village Phase Two.

A parcel of land in Section 11, Township 49 South, Range 41 East, FORT
LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in
Plat Book 4, Page 31, of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida,
said parcel being described as follows:
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of a line 53.00 Ft. North of
and parallel with the South line of said Section 11, with a line 880.00 Ft.
East of and parallel with the West line of Tracts 10 and 15 of said
Section 11;
THENCE N.89002'05"W. along the said line 53.00 Ft. North of and parallel
with the South line of Section 11 a distance of 458.50 Ft.;
THENCE N.00006'02"W. 46.43 Ft. to a point of curvature of a tangent curve
concave to the West;
THENCE Northerly along the arc of said curve, to the left. having a central
angle of 21°59'36" and a radius of 1136.63 Ft. for an ar6 distance of 436.31 Ft,
to a point of tangency;
THENCE N.22005'38"W. along a line tangent to the last described curve a
distance of 458.54 Ft. to a point of curvature of a tangent curve concave
to the East;
THENCE Northerly along the arc of said curve, to the right, having a central
angle of 30000'00" and a radius of 897.03 Ft. for an arc distance of 469.68 Ft.
to a point of tangency;
THENCE N.07054'22"E. along a line tangent to the last described curve a
distance of 373.01 Ft. to a point of curvature of a tangent curve concave to
the West;
THENCE Northerly along the arc of said curve, to the left, having a central
angle of 41056'24" and a radius of 449.65 Ft. for an arc distance of 329.14 Ft.
to a point of tangency;
THENCE N.34°02'02"W. along a line tangent to the last described curve a dis-
tance of 101.32 Ft. to a point of curvature of a tangent curve concave to the
East;
THENCE Northerly along the arc of said curve, to the right, having a central
angle of 35000100" and a radius of 590.89 Ft. for an arc distance of 360.95 Ft.
to a point of tangency;
THENCE N.00057'58"E. along a line tangent to the last described curve a dis-
tance of 90.00 Ft. to a point on a line 40.00 Ft. South of and parallel with
