A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JOE O'BRIEN AS ACTING
CITY MANAGER IN THE ABSENCE OF A CITY MANAGER
IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE.VII-,.SECTIONS_39 and
40, AND AMENDMENT #13 thereof OF THE CHARTER OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, Robert D. Castenholz has resigned as City Manager
of the City of Tamarac, Florida, and
WHEREAS, the aforestated Sections of the Charter of the
City of Tamarac, Florida grants the City Council the authority to
"designate some properly qualified person to temporarily execute
the functions of his office.", and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the best interest
of the City of Tamarac to make such appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That JOE O'BRIEN , Assistant to the City Manager,
is hereby appointed as Acting City M nager ith the powers and duties
as set forth in Article VII, Section 0, nd Amendment #13 thereof.
SECTION 2: That the Acting City Manager shall serve at the
pleasure of City Council.
