RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION COMMEMORATING VETERANS DAY
WHEREAS, the Veterans of W.W.I and W.W.2 and members of
the American Legion have requested authority to conduct
ceremonies commemorating Veterans Day, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to express the
deep gratitude of the populace to those who have given of
themselves in defense of our Nation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the service of the Veterans of W.W.I and
W.W.2 and members of the American Legion be commemorated in
the City of Tamarac on November 11, 1974,E i' / 0 ' AVJ-'Ah
SECTION 2: That the Veterans be and they are hereby
authorized to conduct ceremonies on November 11, 1974$ in the
vicinity of the flagpole in front of City Hall, 5200 Rock
Island Road, Tamarac, Florida,
SECTION 3: That in observance of Veterans Day, City Hall
will be closed November 11, 1974.
