CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION CREATING A PUBLIC INFORMATION COMMITTEE;
PROVIDING DUTIES AND APPOINTING A CHAIRMAN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
has determined that it would be in the best interest of the City
of Tamarac to create a Public Information Committee; and
WHEREAS, said Committee shall be constituted for the express
purpose of disseminating information regarding all facets of operations
related to the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, William Goldman has volunteered to serve as Chairman
of said Committee, and
WHEREAS, City Council is desirous of appointing said William
Goldman to serve as Chairman of the Public Information Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That there is hereby created a Public Information
Committee the purpose of which will be to disseminate information
regarding all facets of operations related to the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 2: That William Goldman of 6319 Brookwood Boulevard,
Tamarac, Florida is hereby appointed Chairman of sat.d Committee and
shall act as Public Information Officer and is given authority to
formulate rules and regulations for said Committee, subject always
to Council approval.
SECTION 3: This Committee and its Chairman shall serve at the
pleasure of the City Council and may be removed and said Committee
abolished with or without cause.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED the 23rd day of October, 1974
