CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FIRE PROTECTION
AGREEMENT WITH SUB -DISTRICT 10 OF THE
BROWARD COUNTY FIRE CONTROL COMMISSION
BY EXTENDING THE AREA OF FIRE PROTECTION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, the Broward County Fire
Control Commission and the North Andrews Volunteer Fire Department
had previously entered into a Fire Protection Agreement dated
April 15, 1974, and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the previous Fire
Protection Agreement and extend the area of fire protection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the Mayor and the City Manager be and
they are hereby authorized to complete the amendment to the
Agreement, copy of which is attached hereto.

AI"TNDMENT TO FIRE PROTECTION AGREEMENT
WHERELA_S, the City of Tamarac, the Froward County Fire Control
Commission and the North Andrews Volunteer Fire Department had pre-
viously entered into a Fire Protection Agreement dated April 15, 19741
and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the previous Fire Protection
Agreement and extend the area of fire protection.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing the parties
agree as follows:
The Fire Protection Agreement between the parties dated April 15,
1974 is amended by extending the area of fire protection to include
the following described property within the City of Tamarac: that
area lying east of 441 and west of the center -line of North West
31st Avenue, from the southerly to the northerly boundaries of the

City of Tamarac. The North Andrews Volunteer Fire Department shall
provide fire protection service to the above -described property
and shall be compensated therefore in accordance with the fee schedule
set forth in the original Fire Protection Agreement between the parties,
pro -rated from the date of this Agreement through April 1.4, 1975.
Except as specifically amended, the Fire Protection Agreement
between the parties dated April 15, 1974 is hereby ratified and
confirmed in all respects,
