CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. '�f /(
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ATTORNEY TO DEFEND CITY OFFICIALS
IN THE NEAL ANTHONY SUIT,
WHEREAS a case has been filed by Neal P. Anthony against
Oscar Seltman, individually and as Mayor of Tamarac, Robert D.
Castenholz, City Manager of Tamarac, Milton Stocker, Police Ch(iLf
of Tamarac, Russell C. Fritz, Roy McConnell, M.R. Januc, Edward
Karfi, and John H. Pur y, Police Officers of the City of Tamarac,
and
WHEREAS the City Council has determined that all of the
named defendants were properly acting within the scope of their
authority as City officials.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the City of Tamarac will undertake the
defense of the case on behalf of all the defendants named above
and pay whatever costs are necessarily connected therewith.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall apply only to this
case and that future questions of this nature will be determined
on an individual basis.
