CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.7�/
A RESOLUTION OBSERVING OCTOBER 27TH,
1974 AS THE AMERICAI; CANCER SOCIETY'S
HIKE--A-THON AND BIKE-A-THON DAY WITHIN
THE CITY OF TAMARAC
WHEREAS, the American Caner Society has requested the City
to observe October 27th, 1974 as the American Cancer Society's
Hike -A -Thou and Bake -A -Than Day within the City of Tamarac,
Florida, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac recognizes
the importance of the work done by the American Cancer Society
in the field of cancer research and desires to urge the residents
of the City of Tamarac to support the American Cancer Society
in its efforts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That October 27th, 1974 be proclaimed the American
Cancer Society's Hike-A-Thon and Bike-A-Thon Day in the City of
Tamarac, Florida.
SECTION 2. That the City Council hereby urges all residents
of the City of Tamarac to participate in and support the American
Cancer Society in sponsoring the Hike-A-Thon and Bike-A-Thon Day
on October 27th, 1974.
