CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION #
A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE REMOVAL OF WEEDS,
PALMETTOS, AND WILD GROWTH FROM THOSE CERTAIN
DRAINAGE DITCHES LOCATED WITHIN THE SABAL PALMS
GOLF CLUB; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Code Enforcement Officer of the City of Tamarac
pursuant to Charter and Ordinance provisions has posted the drain-
age canals located within the area known as the Sabal Palms Golf
Coursewithin the corporate limits of Tamarac, Florida; AND
WHEREAS, a Notice for such posting was delivered by
certified mail, return receipt requested, on October 1, 1974 by
said Code Enforcement Officer informing Leadership Housing, Inc.
and Sabal Palms Golf Club, Inc. of the violations of the appropriate
Ordinances of the City of Tamarac; AND
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 3 Section 11 of the City
Charter of Tamarac, the City Council is desirous of passing this
Resolution requiring adherence to the said Charter and the said
City Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Leadership Housing, Inc. and Sabal Palms Golf
Club, Inc. are hereby commanded to comply with the Ordinance #71-32
and with Article 3 Section 11 of the City Charter of the City of
Tamarac regarding the removal of weeds, palmettos, and wild growth
which constitutes a nuisance to the health and welfare to the in-
habitants of the City of Tamarac no later than October 16th, 1974.
SECTION 2: Upon failure of Leadership Housing, Inc. and
Sabal Palms Golf Club, Inc. to remove said weeds, palmettos and wild
growth by October 16th, 1974 the City Council shall cause said work
to be done and shall place a lien upon said property for the cost
of said work.
