CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING EDWARD A. GROSS AS
CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC: AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to the provisions of
Section 39 of the Charter of the City of Tamarac,
deems it wise
and expedient to fill the
vacancy in the office of
the City Manager,
through an appointment
thereto; AND
WHEREAS, the City
Council has, after examining
credentials
and qualifications and
interviewing applicants for
the position of
N
City Manager, concluded
that EDWARD A. GROSS possesses the necessary
qualifications to serve
in such capacity.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE
IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That EDWARD A. GROSS be and he is hereby appointed
City Manager of the City of Tamarac in accordance with Section 39

of the Charter, as of November 1, 1974, to serve at the will of the

City Council.
SECTION 2: That EDWARD A. GROSS shall serve and be compensated
as City Manager at a salary of Pay Grade 30, Step 1.
SECTION 3: That EDWARD A GROSS, during his term of service
as City Manager shall have the powers and duties set forth in
Section 39 of the City Charter.
