A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING MATCHING FUNDS FOR
AQUATIC WEED CONTROL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
OCTOBER 11, 1974 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1975
BY THE CITY OF TAMARAC
WHEREAS, Section 372.925, FLORIDA STATUTES provides for matching
funds for special districts or local authorities charged with the
responsibility of controlling or eradicating aquatic plants; such
funds to be administered by the Department of Natural Resources, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has the budgeted sums mentioned here-
in available as matching funds for the fiscal year and is desirous
of taking advantage of such program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City of Tamarac hereby certifies to the
Department of Natural Resources that it has sufficient funds budgeted
for the fiscal year October 1, 1974, through September 30, 1975, to
match State funds on an equal basis up to $64,193.00 which includes
$24,537.00 of local funds carried forward from our fiscal year 1973-74.
SECTION 2: That the City of Tamarac is the local authority
charged with the responsibility of controlling or eradicating noxious
aquatic plants in the waters of the area of jurisdiction that are
public.

A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID.' FOR FOUR POLICE CARS_
WHEREAS, the City has heretofore advertised for bids
for Four (4) police cars and has received bids; and,
WHEREAS, the Council is desirous of awarding the bid
for such police cars to the lowest and best bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
